Cloverport Board of Education-Special Called Meeting

4/22/2025—The Cloverport Board of Education approved the 2025/26 district calendar at a Special Called Meeting Tuesday evening.  The first day of school for students is Wednesday, August 6.  There will be no school for students on Friday, September 12 because of the Sacajawea Festival.

In other business the Board approved the master schedule for the 2025/26 school year.

 

The Board approved a job description for a Pathway to Careers teacher.  This will be a certified position.

 

The Board approved a revised policy for non-resident students.  The revised policy relates to students in the Kentucky Virtual Academy.

 

The Board approved blanket hiring of emergency certified substitutes for 2025/26.

 

A contract with Family Health Care Associates was approved.

 

The Board approved the renewal of a memorandum of agreement with KCTCS and HealthForce Kentucky.

 

The Board approved a KETS second offer of assistance of $11,599.00.

 

The Board tabled action on approval of final paperwork for the purchase of a home and property at 105 5th Street.

 

The Board tabled action on approval of the fourth amendment to the contract with K12 Virtual Schools LLC.

 

Graduation for Cloverport Seniors is set for Friday, May 16 at 6:00pm in the Cloverport Sports Center.

 

Graduation for KYVA students will be Saturday, May 17 at 2:00pm in the Cloverport Sports Center
