HARDINSBURG (04/15/25) –104.3 the River and Breckinridge Broadcasting Company, Incorporated are sad to report the passing of long-time Fighting Tiger Sports commentator Scott Willoughby. Scott, along with the late Houston DeHaven called Breckinridge County Sports on WXBC until their retirement after the 2020 season.
Owner, President and General Manager Lee Bramlett: “For many years, Scott and Houston were the Voice of the Tigers. They bought us the lows and the highs, include the highest of them all with 1995 State Championship. Off the headset, Scott was great person and friend to Breckinridge County and will be missed by all of us.”
In addition, he was a former coach at St. Romuald. Funeral services will be Friday at the Hardinsburg Baptist Church.
