Breckinridge County Grand Jury

1/4/2025—The Breckinridge County Grand Jury met January 2 and returned twelve indictments and one superseding indictment.

Jessie R. Lindsey, 35, Hardinsburg, was indicted for theft by unlawful taking/disposition of property valued between $1,000 and $10,000 and 3rd degree burglary.

Sheila M. Tanner, 61, McDaniels, was indicted for 4th degree assault; 2nd degree strangulation; and 3rd degree terroristic threatening.

Jerry L. Lucas, 30, Hardinsburg, was indicted for 1st degree fleeing/evading police; failure to register transfer of motor vehicle; and failure of non-owner to maintain required insurance, 1st offense.

Christopher J. Goodrich, 48, Irvington, was indicted for 2nd degree terroristic threatening and 2nd degree disorderly conduct.

Michael JW Morgan, 26, Corydon, IN., was indicted for driving DUI-suspended license, 3rd offense.

Joshua G. Lancaster, 36, Irvington, was indicted for 2nd degree fleeing/evading police.

Matthew L. Henson, 35, Tell City, IN., was indicted for 1st degree fleeing/evading police; trafficking in marijuana, 1st offense; 1st degree possession of a controlled substance(meth), 1st offense; 2nd degree wanton endangerment/police officer; resisting arrest; operating a motor vehicle under the influence of a controlled substance, 1st offense; and possession of marijuana.

Jolena M. Amburgey, 36, Irvington, was indicted for 3rd degree assault/police officer; 1st degree possession of cocaine; 2nd degree fleeing/evading police; and resisting arrest.

Brett T. Kraszewski, 26, Hardinsburg, was indicted for 2nd degree fleeing/evading police; 3rd degree assault/police officer; 3rd degree terroristic threatening; resisting arrest; 2nd degree wanton endangerment; and 2nd degree disorderly conduct.

Brittant Tessa R. VanWinkle, 28, Brandenburg, was indicted for 2nd degree fleeing/evading police; obstructing governmental operations; and resisting arrest.

Ace Hayes, 33, Irvington, was indicted for 1st degree possession of an unspecified drug, 1st offense; 4th degree assault/domestic violence; and no operators/moped license.

Justin J. Walker, 33, Hardinsburg, was indicted for 1st degree possession of a controlled substance(meth), 1st offense.

In a superseding indictment, Gregory S. McCrary, 43, Leitchfield, was indicted for murder and being a 1st degree persistent felony offender.  He is charged with the intent to cause the death of Dwan Atwell in January, 2021.
