WESTVIEW (12/10/24) – A one-vehicle accident along Kentucky 259 South Tuesday afternoon resulted in minor injuries to the driver. According to the Breckinridge County Sheriff’s Office, a 2020 Ford driven by 23-year-old Ethan Donoghue was travelling south on 259 in the area of the Mt. Zion Church just 4:30 Tuesday when the vehicle ran off the road, went to a gulley then struck a small embankment, causing the vehicle to go airborne and hit a brush pile that included a rooted tree, causing the car to flip end-over- end and land on its roof. Donoghue initially refused on-scene treatment for minor injuries by Breck Central EMS, but later went to Breckinridge Memorial Hospital by private vehicle to be checked out.
