Doris Jean Vinson Embrey died on Monday, November 18, 2024 in Brandenburg. She is survived by one brother, Norman Vinson of Warrenton, Virginia; four children, Jeff Embrey, Janet Powers, Kevin Dale Embrey, and Karen Singleton, all of Brandenburg; eight grandchildren and eighteen great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held at Bruington-Jenkins-Sturgeon Funeral Home in Brandenburg from 2:00-8:00 P.M. on Thursday, November 21, 2024 and on Friday, November 22, 2024 at First Baptist Church in Brandenburg from 9:00-11:00 A.M. with the funeral service at 11:00 A.M. in the church sanctuary. Burial will be at Cap Anderson Cemetery in Brandenburg. Donations of sympathy may be sent to First Baptist Church in Brandenburg, All About Home, or Hosparus Health.
