Football Game Shooting Victim Remains In Critical Condition As Investigation Continues

LOUISVILLE (09/30/24) – Family members say one of the two juveniles shot at a high school football game in Louisville Sunday night remains in critical condition. The victim, only identified as a 17-year-old student from Valley High School, was found with multiple wounds and taken to University of Louisville Hospital, where he is being treated. A second victim was not as seriously hurt. Metro Police arrested 22-year-old Damon Williams, Jr. on weapons charges, but not the actual shooting. Police are asking for the public’s help in identifying other suspects.
