5/20/2024—The Breckinridge County Board of Education approved a bid from Parco Construction for the Custer Elementary School vestibule project at a Special Called Meeting Monday afternoon. The total bid is $188,000.00.
In other business, the Board approved an offer of $8,041,000.00 from the State School Facilities Construction Commission for the BCMS construction project. The Board previously received $14.7 million towards the project.
The Board approved the Family Resource Youth Services Committee evaluation form.
At the beginning of the meeting, Jon Miller gave a report on the District Transition Post-Readiness program. He discussed several career pathways and said that 90.87% of the current senior class are post-secondary ready.
