MORGANTOWN – The Butler County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a robbery that happened Sunday (4/21) evening. Authorities said the incident happened along Caneyville Road in Morgantown.
A man and woman closed Don Lindsey’s Grocery and began driving along the road. They pulled off to change a flat tire and were approached by a man in a black hoodie. The man allegedly took their money bag and fled. Police said they did not have leads on the suspect’s identity. Anyone with information should contact the Butler County Sheriff’s Office.
