General Assembly Ends Session Monday Night

FRANKFORT (04/15/24) — The 2024 Kentucky General Assembly session ended Monday night, with lawmakers considering bills before adjournment: a bill aimed at improving math skills won final approval as well a measure intended to reduce the state’s maternal mortality rate gained approval. The session marked the end of Republican Damon Thayer’s decade-long stint as the Senate’s Majority Leader, barring a return to Frankfort for a special session.
