LEITCHFIELD (08/15/23) – A man was arrested over the weekend on multiple charges in both Breckinridge and Grayson Counties. Grayson County Sheriff Norman Chaffins says authorities were investigating nearly a dozen thefts and burglaries in that county during July and August. A suspect, 23-year-old Tyler Corbin of Leitchfield fled from police in a stolen vehicle. He was later spotted by a police drone showing Corbin walking on foot, holding a rifle while fleeing from authorities.

Sometime later, Hardinsburg Police received a report of an attempted theft, with Breckinridge County Sheriff Billy Richardson spotting a male later identified as Corbin walking on foot. Corbin was taken into custody following a brief foot pursuit. He was lodged in the Breckinridge County Detention Center on charges of fleeing/evading police, receiving stolen property (firearm) and possession of drug paraphernalia with other charges expected from Grayson County as an investigation is on-going.
