OMAHA, Neb. (AP) — Claire Chaussee had 25 kills, Anna DeBeer filled up the stat sheet and Louisville made history as the first ACC team to make the NCAA Volleyball Championship match by beating league rival Pittsburg 3-2 in the semifinals. Louisville won by scores of 25-18, 23-25, 25-22, 22-25 and 15-2. The Cardinals will face top-seeded Texas in the Championship game Saturday night.

UNDATED (AP) – Massachusetts Gov. Charlie Baker will be the next president of the NCAA, replacing Mark Emmert as the head of the largest college sports governing body in the country. Baker, a Republican, has been governor of Massachusetts since 2015. He announced earlier this year he would not seek re-election. He will start the job in March 2023.
