LEITCHFIELD (10/23/22) – Authorities in Grayson County say a Caneyville man was killed in a one-vehicle accident Sunday night.
The Sheriff’s office said a car was traveling southbound on Shrewsbury Road when it ran off the right shoulder for several feet before overcorrecting and crossing both lanes of travel.
The vehicle started to spin before striking a utility pole, then flipped end over end, ejecting the operator. The vehicle came to final rest upright with the driver pinned underneath.
43-year-old Nicholas Mudd was pronounced deceased at the scene by the Grayson County Coroner.
The accident remains under investigation.
