Breckinridge Circuit Court-Division 1

9/21/2022—Division 1 of Breckinridge Circuit Court with Judge Bruce Butler met Wednesday.  Note: Division 2 did not meet today.

 

Lori A. Thomas, 55, pleaded not guilty to 1st degree trafficking in a controlled substance(meth), 1st offense.  A pre-trial conference was scheduled for November 2.

 

Dwight W. Vergason, 65, pleaded not guilty to 1st degree possession of a controlled substance(meth), 1st offense, and possession of drug paraphernalia.  A pre-trial conference was scheduled for November 16.

 

Steven M. Coots, 30, pleaded not guilty to 1st degree possession of a controlled substance(meth), 1st offense, and possession of drug paraphernalia.  A pre-trial conference was scheduled for November 16.

 

Stephen J. Moore, 59, pleaded not guilty to 1st degree possession of a controlled substance(meth), 1st offense; possession of drug paraphernalia; and resisting arrest.  A pre-trial conference was scheduled for November 16.

 

Rebecca S. Taul, 45, was sentenced to three years in prison, diverted for ten years, for making false statements/misrepresentation to receive benefits over $1,000.

 

Gregory K. Allen, 33, was sentenced to 18 months in prison, probated for three years, for 1st degree possession of heroin, 2nd offense.

 

Bradley D. Mattingly, 39, was sentenced to five years in prison for reckless homicide.

 

Marquetta A. Davis, 60, was sentenced to two years in prison for 1st degree trafficking in a controlled substance(meth), 1st offense.

 

Shock probation was denied for Christopher Kleinhelter, 28.

 

A motion for shock probation by James B. Brizius, 34, was taken under submission.

 

Probation was revoked for Rondal D. Glenn, 46.

 

William L. Keith, 65, pleaded guilty to 2nd degree assault; 3rd degree assault/police officer; 1st degree wanton endangerment; and operating a motor vehicle under the influence, 1st offense.  Sentencing was scheduled for October 19.
