Betty S. Hardesty, age 84, of Brandenburg, died Sunday(07/24) at her residence. She is survived by her husband, James H. “Sonny” Hardesty; two daughters, Jackie Hardesty Flaherty and Carrie Hardesty Filburn; her sister, Nellie Hardesty; four grandchildren; and five great grandchildren. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 AM Thursday(07/28), at St. John the Apostle Catholic Church. Burial will follow in St. George Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the Hager Funeral Home in Brandenburg from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM Wednesday(07/27), and at the church from 9:00 AM until the time of mass on Thursday(07/28). Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to Holy Guardian Angel Catholic Church.
