NFL: Cowboys Win Ninth Straight; Colts Hold Off Titans

UNDATED (AP) — The Dallas Cowboys just keep on rolling. They won their ninth straight game with a 27-17 win over the visiting Ravens. Rookie quarterback Dak Prescott threw three touchdown passes, two to Dez Bryant, as the Cowboys improved to 9-1. The nine-game winning streak is a franchise record. The game marked the first for Tony Romo to serve as the backup to Prescott, who finished 27 of 36 for 301 yards. The Ravens fell to 5-5 and into a tie for first place in the AFC North with Pittsburgh.

In other Week 11 action:

— The Steelers kept pace with the Ravens with a 24-9 win over winless Cleveland. Pittsburgh quarterback Ben Roethlisberger has dominated the Browns with wins in 20 of 22 games. The win snapped a four-game losing streak for the Steelers who scored eight points with zeroes showing on the clock before halftime after they were awarded two extra plays because of defensive penalties against the 0-11 Browns. Cleveland quarterback Cody Kessler sustained his second concussion of the season in the game.

— Kansas City lost its share of first place in the AFC West with Oakland. The Chiefs fell to 7-3 with a 19-17 loss to the Buccaneers. Bucs’ quarterback Jameis Winston sliced up the KC defense, throwing for 331 yards. The loss snapped the Chiefs’ five-game winning streak. Most of the Tampa offense came from the foot of Roberto Aguayo who kicked four field goals.

— Russell Wilson threw for 272 yards and a touchdown, and caught a 15-yard touchdown pass from Doug Baldwin as the Seattle Seahawks rolled past the Philadelphia Eagles 26-15. Wilson became the first quarterback in Seahawks franchise history to catch a touchdown, a perfect end-around pass to give the Seahawks a 23-7 lead.

— The Giants clawed back to beat the Bears 22-16. Eli Manning threw a go-ahead 15-yard touchdown pass to rookie Sterling Shepard in the third quarter as New York won its fifth straight. That streak is New York’s longest since 2010. The loss dropped the Bears to 2-8, their worst start since 2002.

— Kirk Cousins passed for 375 yards and three TDs in leading the Washington Redskins past Green Bay 42-24 last night. The Redskins are in the thick of the NFC wild card hunt at 6-3-1 while the Pack lost their fourth in a row to fall to 4-6.

— Detroit and Minnesota are set to square off Thursday in the Motor City. Each team enters the game with six wins in 10 games, tied for first in the NFC North. The Lions improved with their 26-19 win over Jacksonville while the Vikings stopped Arizona 30-24. In that game Xavier Rhodes of the Vikings returned one of his two interceptions 100 yards for a touchdown and Cordarrelle Patterson took the second-half kickoff 104 yards for a score.

— Andrew Luck led the Colts to a 24-17 win over Tennessee. The Colts are even at 5-5 now and in second place in the AFC South. Indianapolis has dominated the series with wins in the last 11 games. The Titans fell to 5-6 with the loss. Of note, Adam Vinatieri’s NFL record streak of consecutive field goals made ended at 44 when a 42-yarder sailed wide right.

— The Bills were 16-12 winners over the Bengals in Cincinnati. Buffalo had lost three in a row entering the game, Cincinnati’s first at home in almost a month. The Bengals are 3-6-1.

— DeVante Parker caught a 9-yard touchdown pass from Ryan Tannehill with 36 seconds left, and the Miami Dolphins rallied for two late scores to beat the L.A. Rams 14-10.
