AP College Football Poll: Cards Rise To 5th, Ohio State Falls

UNDATED (AP) — Ohio State tumbled in this week’s Associated Press college football poll after its upset loss at Penn State.

The Buckeyes’ first loss of the season dropped them four spots to sixth, while the win moves Penn State into the rankings for the first time since 2011. The Nittany Lions show up at No. 24.

Alabama is still king of the hill, picking up all but one of the 61 first-place votes following its impressive win over Texas A&M.

Michigan slips into Ohio State’s former spot at No. 2, followed by Clemson, Washington and Louisville.

Nebraska is No. 7 this week, just ahead of Baylor and Texas A&M. The Aggies fell two spots following their first loss of the season.

West Virginia moves up two to round out the top 10.
