(10/19/16)- At the district volleyball tournament on Tuesday (10/18) night in Brandenburg, Breckinridge County advanced to the final with a three-set (25-22, 25-12, 25-14) victory over Hancock County. The Lady Tigers will face Meade County in Thursday (10/20) night’s champion ship. The Lady Waves topped Cloverport in three sets (25-5, 25-5, 25-8) in the earlier semifinal.
In girls middle school basketball from last night, Breckinridge County took two from Edmonson County, the 7th grade winning 38-18 while the Lady Tigers 8th grade defeated Edmonson, 34-29.
