| Daniel Clifton “Danny’ Jones, Jr., died Thursday (10/02) at his home in Lewisport. He is survived by daughters Tracy Harpe, of Tennessee, and Briana Pulliam of Hawesville. Three brothers, H.W. Jones of Florida, Ray Jones of Owensboro, and Glen Jones of Lewisport also survive, as do three sisters; Mary Powers and Judy Payne, both of Hawesville, and Sunny King of Tell City. Five grandchildren and a great-grandchild also survive. Funeral services will be Monday (10/06) at 12 Noon, at Taylor-Wood Funeral Home in Lewisport. Visitation is Sunday (10/05) until 8PM and after 8AM on Monday. Expressions of sympathy may be made to the Hospice Association. (Envelopes are available at the Funeral Home.) |
| Linda Miller, 62 of Reynolds Station, died Friday(10/3) at Owensboro Medical Health System. She is survived by her husband Wayne C. Miller of Reynolds Station; 2 daughters, Teresa Cheek of Reynolds Station and Tamara Taylor of Hartford; 2 grandsons; 3 sisters, Brenda Pirtle of Hartford, Judy Huff and Joanie Wilson both of Fordsville; 3 brothers, Bobby Decker of Fordsville, Dwayne Decker and Gary Decker both of Dundee. Funeral services will be at 1pm Monday(10/6) at the Geary Funeral Home in Fordsville with burial in Olaton Cemetery in Olaton. Visitation will be at the funeral home Sunday(10/5) from 2-6pm and Monday after 11am. |
| Susan Elaine King, 50 of Brandenburg, died Thursday(10/2) at University of Louisville hospital. She is survived by her parents, Jack and Linda king of Brandenburg; a sister, Annette King of Brandenburg; 2 brothers, Michael King of Elizabethtown and David King of Guston; several nieces, nephews, aunts uncles and cousins survive. A burial mass will be held at 11am Monday(10/6) at St. john the Apostle Catholic Church in Brandenburg with burial in St. George Cemetery. Visitation will be at the Hager Funeral Home in Brandenburg from 1-8pm eastern time Sunday(10/5) and after 9am Monday. Prayer services will be held Sunday evening at the funeral home. |

She is survived by 4 sisters, Eunice Noble, Eula Lee, Bernice Rustici and Shirley VanHooser and a brother Chester Clemons. Funeral services will be at 1pm sunday(10/5) at Rogers-Oller Funeral Home in Clarkson with burial in Rock Creek Cemetery. Visitation will be Saturday(10/4) from 2-7pm at the funeral home. |
| Ronnie Charles Lane, 59, of Owensboro, died Wednesday(10/1) at Harborside Nursing Facility. He is survived by 2 daughters, Angela Carol Alvey of Tell City and Pamela Denise Lane of Owensboro; a sister, Rita Pate of Cloverport; a half-sister, Jean Nutgrass of Louisville; 3 half-brothers, Junior Price of Florida, David Lane of Breckinridge Co and Larry Lane of Owensboro and 2 grandchildren survive. Funeral services will be at 1pm Saturday(10/4) at Burns Funeral Home in Cloverport with burial in Cloverport Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10am till funeral time Saturday at Burns Funeral Home. He is survived by his wife, Nancy Owen of Hardinsburg; 2 daughters, Madelyn and Allyson Owen both of Hardinsburg; a sister, Virginia Owen Poe of Brandenburg and 2 brothers, RS "Dickie" Owen, III and Robbie Owen both of Falls of Rough. Funeral services will be at 11am Friday(10/3) at Hardinsburg Baptist Church with burial in Ivy Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be at Trent-Dowell Funeral Home Thursday from 3-8pm.
