| Billy Curl, age 63, of Wolf Creek, died Tuesday (7/28) at his residence. He is survived by his wife, Pat Curl, 2 daughters: Sherrie Monroe of Wolf Creek and Karen Evans of Arizona, 2 sons: Tony Bunger of Ekron and Rick Evans of Bowling Green, a brother, Hubert Curl of Brandenburg and 3 grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at Bruington-Jenkins-Sturgeon Funeral Home Friday at 2 p.m. (ET) with burial in Parr-Frans Cemetery in Battletown. Friends may call Thursday from 1 to 9 p.m. (ET) and Friday after 8:30 a.m. Expressions of sympathy may be made to Hospice of Central Kentucky. |

She is survived by her daughters: Denise Embry, Glenda Goss, Marsha Zeitz, Annette Goff and Allison Hyde, a sister Nell Ann Sparling, 14 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Clarkson Baptist Church with burial in Leitchfield Memory Gardens. | Betty Jane Alvey, 66, of Wax, KY died Monday (7/26) at her residence. She is survived by 2 sons, James Carman and Wayne Alvey; 2 daughters, Lisa Alvey and Tommy Hoben, 4 brothers, Jimmy, Davis, Muriel Wayne and Bobby Blair; 10 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. He is survived by a son, Neal Probus of Newburgh, a brother Denver Probus of Irvington, 4 grandchildren, 1 great-grandson and many nieces and nephews.
