Breckinridge County Farmers' Produce Market


The Breckinridge County Farmers' Produce Market will be open every Saturday at 6:30 a.m. and Tuesday afternoons at 3 p.m. until all produce is sold.

Breckinridge County Public Library will have afterschool craft time Wednesday (8/27) at 3:30 p.m.

Sacajawea Festival


The Sacajawea Festival begins Wednesday (8/27) with gospel music at 6 p.m. and the announcement of the man and woman of the year at 7 p.m. followed by the community church service. 

Grayson County Fair


Grayson County Fair events for Wednesday (8/27) will include the pageants for 0 to 7 years old at 5:30 p.m. followed by the Little Miss & Mister Grayson County pageants, the KOI Drag Racing at 7, rides open at 5 p.m. and the merchants building will be open from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m. 

Bake Sale Fundraiser


There will be a bake sale Thursday (8/28) starting at 7 a.m. in the hospital business office lobby. There will also be a silent auction till 1 p.m. on a UK basket, UofL basket and a movie night basket. All proceeds will go to Cowboys for Kids.

Sacajawea Festival


The events at the Sacajawea Festival for Thursday (8/28) will begin with the Lewis and Clark Contest, Little Indian Chief, Baby Sacajawea,Tiny Princess Sacajawea, Little Princess Sacajawea, and the Princess Sacajawea.  WXBC will be there from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. and there will be free music under the pavilion. The festival kitchen opens at 4 p.m.

Grayson County Fair


Grayson County Fair events for Thursday (8/28) will be registration and preliminaries for the karaoke contest will be at 5 p.m. with the The Miss Grayson County pageant at 7 p.m. and the lawnmower and mini car demolition derbies at 7 p.m.

The Breckinridge County Public Library will have preschool story time Friday (8/29) at 10 a.m.

The events for the Sacajawea Festival for Friday (8/29) will be the Senior Citizen Day activites will be at 11 a.m. The Jr. Miss Cloverport will start at 6 p.m. followed by the Pre-Teen Miss Cloverport,Teen Miss Cloverport, Miss Cloverport and Ms. Cloverport. There will be free music under the pavilion from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. The festival kitchen opens at 11 a.m.

Grayson County Fair gates open Friday (8/29) at 3 p.m., rides open at 5 p.m. and the demoliation derby starts at 7 p.m. 

Sacajawea Festival 5K Run/walk


The Sacjawea Festival 5K Run/Walk will be held Saturday (8/30). Registration begins at 7 a.m. at City Hall and the race will start at 8 a.m. The entry fee is $15 before day of race and $20 day of the race. To pre-register call Danielle Lancaster at 270-945-0340.

Sacajawea Festival


The Sacajawea Festival events for Saturday (8/30) starts 6 a.m. with the bass tournament, the 5K Maiden Run at 8 a.m., a car crusie at 10 a.m., the kids activities begin at 11 a.m., the Alumni Banquet at 6 p.m. The stage area events begin at 4 p.m. with the baby beautiful, Tiny Miss Cloverport, Little Miss Cloverport, Cutest Couple, Tiny Tots, Tiny Mister Cloverport, Little Mister Cloverport and the parent/child look-a-like. The festival kitchen opens at 11 a.m. The fireworks will be at 11 p.m. There will be free music under the pavilion from 1:30 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. 

Grayson County Fair


Grayson County Fair gates open Saturday (8/30) at 8 a.m., registration for the antique tractor and engine show will be from 8 a.m. to noon, Arm Wrestling weigh-in at 10 a.m. and KY Arm Wrestling Championship at 1 p.m., the Grayson county Truck pull will be at 2 p.m., Karaoke contest will be at 7 p.m. and the KTPA Truck and Tractor pull will begin at 7 p.m.

Emmanuel Fellowship Church


Emmanuel Fellowship Church will have special music by the Joymakers Sunday (8/31) at 11 a.m. with a meal to follow the service. There will be no Sunday school.

Family Reunion


The descendants of the late Jules and Delilah Jackson will have a family reunion Sunday (8/31) at Tar Fork Christian Church at 11 a.m. and a pot luck meal will follow at the home of Mike and Mary Ruth Tafoya. For more information call 270-756-2396.

WXBC will broadcast live from the Sacajawea Festival Parade Sunday (8/31) at 2 p.m. and the Fruits of Our Labor Arts and Craft Show will be from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.

The Grayson County Fair ends Monday (9/01) with the Labor Day Parade beginning at 9:30 a.m. 

Double Eagle Scottish Rights Club and Irvington Lodge #868


The Double Eagle Scottish Rights Club and Irvington Lodge #868 will have family night Tuesday (9/02). A meal will be served at 6 p.m. and the awards and entertainment will be at 7 p.m. eastern time at the Irvington Lodge #868.

BCHS Class of '94 Reunion


The Breckinridge County High School Class of 1994 will have their 20th class reunion Saturday (9/06) at 6 p.m. at Rough River State Restort Park. Tickets are $45 per person or $70 per couple. If you plan on attending call Erin DeHaven at 270-756-6078.
