Rotary Radio Auction Takes In Almost $11,000


(10/28/14)- The annual Hardinsburg Rotary Club Joe Trent Memorial Radio Auction was held Monday (10/27) night and broadcast live on WXBC from the Board of Education Annex in Hardinsburg. 10/27/2014—Breckinridge Fiscal Court approved the second reading of an ordinance amending the budget at their regular meeting Monday evening.  The amendment includes unbudgeted receipts and expenditures of $136,248.24 of borrowed money for construction of the Custer Area 2 Fire Department building.

Cloverport City Council-Special Called Meeting


10/27/2014—The Special Called Meeting of the Cloverport City Council, scheduled for Monday evening, was cancelled due to the lack of a quorum.  This the second consecutive week the meeting has been cancelled.  Mayor Susan Hendricks told WXBC news, that Trick-or-Treat hours in Cloverport will be 5:00 to 8:00pm, this Friday, October 31. 

One Vehicle Injury Accident


10/27/14---According to Chief Deputy Bruce Anthony, with the Breckinridge County Sheriff’s Office, a Hardinsburg woman was injured in a single vehicle accident this(Mon) morning.
