Save-Rite Drugs Burglary


8/20/14---Local law enforcement is asking for the public’s help in solving a recent burglary.
According to Deputy Billy Richardson, with the Breckinridge County Sheriff’s Department, thieves struck a local pharmacy in the early morning hours of Sunday.

Cloverport Independent Schools Local Planning Committee meets


8/19/2014—The Cloverport Independent Schools Local Planning Committee approved the new District Facilities Plan during their meeting Tuesday evening.  Tim Lucas, a consultant with P-12 Educational Planning, Lexington, KY., conducted the meeting.  Jeannie Cannon, an architect with RBS Design, presented the preliminary architectural drawings.

Two Vehicle Accident


8/19/14---Two teens received minor injuries in an accident on U.S. Highway 60, near Cloverport, Monday afternoon.

High Speed Pursuit


8/18/14---A Cloverport man faces charges stemming from a high speed pursuit that began on U.S. Highway 60 Thursday.
According to Hardinsburg Patrolman Justin Magness, the pursuit began at about 5:30 Thursday afternoon near the intersection of Highway 60 and 992.  The 100 mile per hour pursuit went eastbound on 60 to Harned, where it turned onto Ephesus Church Road. The pursuit terminated
