Breckinridge Circuit Court-Division 1


10/22/2014—Division 1 of Breckinridge Circuit Court with Judge Bruce Butler met Wednesday.
 
Leslie Crump, 32, and Joseph C. Crain, 30, each pleaded not guilty to a charge of flagrant non-support.  Both will have a pre-trial conference December 3.
 
Brandin Wales, 30, pleaded guilty to flagrant non-support.  Sentencing was set for December 3.

Two Vehicle Accident


10/21/14---A two vehicle accident near Garfield sent one person to the hospital yesterday (Mon) afternoon. The accident occurred around 5:15 in the 5000 block of East Highway 60, near Dead Man’s Curve. Cloverport City Council


10/20/2014—The  regular meeting of the Cloverport City Council was cancelled because of the lack of a quorum.  According to Mayor Susan Hendricks, the meeting has been rescheduled for Monday, October 27 at 5:00pm.

Tigers Fall to Franklin-Simpson


(10/18/14)- The Breckinridge County Fighting Tiger football team fell to Franklin-Simpson Friday (10/17) night by the score of 54-0. The Wildcats converted an early Tiger interception into a touchdown and never looked back. Demetrius Mucker led the Tigers with 14 tackles and named the Player of the Game. The Tigers are at Warren East next Friday (10/23) night.
