WXBC is the only daily local news source in Breckinridge County. We broadcast local news Monday through Saturday at 5am, 6am, 7am, 8am, 12 noon, and 4pm. On Sunday, you can hear local news updates at 6am, 7am, 9am, and at 12 noon.
Along with comprehensive coverage of all the local news, you get Breckinridge County's only local weather source. WXBC is the official reporting station for the National Weather Service, and during times of severe weather you can depend on us for constant weather updates.
WXBC is committed to Breckinridge County. You'll see us at all kinds
of school events, the county fair, parades, the Relay for Life, in short,
if a crowd is gathered, WXBC is probably there!
