3/6/2024—Division 2 of Breckinridge Circuit Court with Judge Kenneth H. Goff II met Wednesday.

 

Shannon L. Jones, 33, pleaded not guilty to engaging in organized crime/criminal syndicate; convicted felon in possession of a handgun; convicted felon in possession of a firearm; 1st degree trafficking in a controlled substance(meth), 2nd or greater offense/enhanced; 3rd degree trafficking in an unspecified drug, 1st offense/enhanced; 2nd degree possession of an anabolic steroid/enhanced; endangering the welfare of a minor; possession of marijuana/enhanced; controlled substance not in original container/enhanced; and being a 2nd degree persistent felony offender.  A pre-trial conference was scheduled for April 24.

 

The Court deferred prosecution for one year for Marciela Marrufo, 26.

 

Josh Daugherty, 29, pleaded not guilty to 2nd degree burglary; receiving stolen property valued between $1,000 and $10,000; and 3rd degree unlawful transaction with a minor.  A pre-trial conference was scheduled for May 8.

 

Dakota R. Stewart, 27, pleaded not guilty to 1st degree possession of a controlled substance(meth), 1st offense.  A pre-trial conference was scheduled for May 8.

 

Lee R. Brown, 66, pleaded not guilty to 1st degree fleeing/evading police; eight counts of 1st degree wanton endangerment/police officer; 1st degree possession of a controlled substance(meth), 1st offense; 3rd degree criminal mischief; operating a motor vehicle under the influence of a controlled substance, 1st offense; and 3rd degree assault/police officer/communicable bodily fluid.  A pre-trial conference was scheduled for May 8.

 

Guy L. Brison, 23, pleaded guilty to 1st degree promoting contraband and 2nd degree trafficking in an unspecified drug, 1st offense.  Sentencing was scheduled for April 24.

 

Roderick E. Aldridge, 61, pleaded guilty to 1st degree possession of a controlled substance(meth), 1st offense; 1st degree promoting contraband; operating a motor vehicle under the influence of a controlled substance, 1st offense; and failure of owner to maintain required insurance, 1st offense.  In another case, Aldridge pleaded guilty to engaging in organized crime/criminal syndicate; 1st degree possession of a controlled substance(meth), 1st offense; possession of drug paraphernalia; and possession of marijuana.  Sentencing was scheduled for April 24.

 

Jason M. Keller, 40, was sentenced to two years in prison for theft by unlawful taking of contents from a vehicle valued between $500 and $10,000; 365 days for 2nd degree fleeing evading police; and 365 days for 2nd degree criminal mischief.  The sentences were probated for five years.

 

Motions for shock probation by Gregory K. Huffer, 56; Jason A. Winn Jr., 36;  Watson A. Barrett, 40; and Crystal M. Mattingly, 30, were taken under submission.

 

David W. Stumph, 35, was sentenced to one year in prison, probated for three years, for flagrant non-support.
