Breckinridge Circuit Court-Division 2

4/24/2024—Division 2 of Breckinridge Circuit Court with Judge Kenneth H. Goff II met Wednesday.

 

Britteny L. Hampton, 38, pleaded not guilty to 1st degree possession of a controlled substance(meth), 1st offense.  A pre-trial conference was scheduled for July 10.

 

Courtney L. Warner, 45, pleaded guilty to theft by unlawful taking of contents from a vehicle valued between $500 and $10,000, and nine counts of 3rd degree burglary.  Sentencing was scheduled for June 19.

 

October A. Staples, 43, pleaded guilty to 1st degree trafficking in a controlled substance(meth), 1st offense.  Sentencing was scheduled for June 5.

 

Aaron T. Wicker, 25, pleaded guilty to receiving stolen property valued over $10,000; obscuring the identity of a machine over $10,000; 1st degree fleeing/evading police; two counts of 1st degree wanton endangerment/police officer; 1st degree wanton endangerment; 3rd degree burglary; theft by unlawful taking/disposition of an auto valued between $1,000 and $10,000; 1st and 2nd degree criminal mischief; fraud; possession of marijuana; and shoplifting.  Sentencing was scheduled for June 19.

 

Josh Daugherty, 29, was sentenced to two years in prison, diverted for five years, for receiving stolen property valued between $1,000 and $10,000, and ten days for 3rd degree unlawful transaction with a minor.

 

Motions for shock probation by Steven M. Coots, 31, and Watson A. Barrett, 40, were taken under submission.

 

Probation was revoked for Gene L. Smallwood, 42.

 

Gut L. Brison, 23, was sentenced to five years in prison for complicity to promoting contraband and complicity to trafficking in an unspecified drug, 1st offense.

 

James Arnold, 26, pleaded not guilty to 1st degree possession of a controlled substance (meth), 1st offense and trafficking in marijuana.  A pre-trial conference was scheduled for June 19.

 

Christopher Pascoe, 31, pleaded not guilty to 8 counts of terrorism; 8 counts of attempted murder of a police officer; three counts of 2nd degree assault/police officer; attempted assault of a police officer; and 8 counts of 1st degree wanton endangerment/police officer.  A pre-trial hearing was scheduled for June 19.
