Breckinridge Circuit Court-Division 1

3/20/2024—Division 1 of Breckinridge Circuit Court with Judge Bruce Butler met Wednesday.

Clemmie Cannon, 65, pleaded not guilty to four counts of theft by unlawful taking of an auto valued between $10,000 and $1,000,000; theft by deception/cold checks valued over $10,000; and theft by unlawful taking of an auto valued between $1,000 and $10,000.  A pre-trial conference was scheduled for May 22.

Joe A. Phillips, 33, pleaded not guilty to 1^st degree possession of a controlled substance(meth), 1^st offense.  A pre-trial conference was scheduled for May 8.

Kacie Morris, 40, and Jennifer Boyd, 42, each pleaded guilty to 1^st degree possession of a controlled substance(meth), 1^st offense.  Sentencing was scheduled for April 24.

Patrick Price, 37, pleaded not guilty to trafficking in marijuana/enhanced; being a convicted felon in possession of a handgun; being a convicted felon in possession of a firearm; acquiring property with income from trafficking in a controlled substance/enhanced; cultivation of marijuana, 1^st offense; and being a 1^st degree persistent felony offender.  A pre-trial conference was scheduled for May 22.

Elwood Clark, 44, pleaded guilty to 1^st degree possession of an unspecified drug, 1^st offense.  Sentencing was scheduled for May 8.

Bradley M. Dowell, 36, was sentenced to 18 months in prison, diverted for three years, for 1^st degree possession of opiates, 1^st offense.

Michael V. Brown, 31, was sentenced to two years in prison, probated for five years, for failure to comply with sex offender registration.

Donald Thompson, 33, was sentenced to 18 months in prison, diverted for three years, for 1^st degree possession of a controlled substance(meth), 1^st offense.
