SPRINGFIELD (09/16/23) – Kentucky State Police say a Mississippi man was killed in a two-vehicle accident Saturday night in Washington County. The preliminary investigation revealed that 35-year-old Demario Coleman was traveling on US 150 near Texas Road Saturday night when his vehicle collided head-on with a truck driven by 47-year-old Llyric Perkins of Harrodsburg. Coleman was pronounced dead at the scene by the Washington County Coroner. Perkins was transported to the University of Kentucky Hospital with life-threatening injuries. A passenger in Coleman’s vehicle was also transported to the University of Kentucky Hospital with serious injuries
