Second Victim Dies After Winds Topple Sign Onto Parked Car In Elizabethtown

ELIZABETHTOWN (01/23/23) – A second person has died after high winds toppled a restaurant sign onto a parked vehicle last week in Elizabethtown. 77-year-old Lloyd Curtis passed away early Monday morning, according to family members. His wife, Lillian, died last Thursday after winds toppled a Denny’s sign some 80 feet onto the vehicle which had pulled off I-65. A third person in the vehicle was treated and released.
