Sports: Tiger Baseball; Boys Sweet Sixteen; Louisville To Play Georgia In Football

LEXINGTON (03/31/20 — The Boys Sweet Sixteen is underway in Lexington with Elizabethtown, Clark County, Ballard and Bowling Green winners in Wednesday games. Third Region champ Muhlenberg County plays later today against Fort Thomas Highlands. (For scores, click HERE.)

UNDATED (03/31/20) — U-of-L and Georgia have announced a home-and-home series in football. The schools jointly announced jointly that the Bulldogs will visit Louisville on Sept 19, 2026. The Cardinals will make a return trip to Athens on Sept. 18, 2027. Georgia and Louisville have met only once previously. The Bulldogs defeated the Cardinals 37-14 at the 2014 Belk Bowl in Charlotte.

BLOOMINGTON (03/28/20) — Indiana University announced this week that former Hoosier player Mike Woodson has been hired as men’s basketball coach. A long-time Knicks assistant, Woodson played at IU from 1976 to 1980.
