Fallen Lines Cause Major Power Outage

LEITCHFIELD — A major power outage in Grayson County placed over 7,000 Warren RECC customers in the dark early Friday morning. A spokesperson for Warren RECC said that the outage was caused by a downed transmission line which fed at least three centralized substations in the county.  Power was restored within a few hours. The recent inclement weather is believed to be the cause of the outage.
