Kentucky Reports Record Daily Caseload For COVID-19

FRANKFORT, Ky. (AP) — Kentucky has posted a record daily high for new coronavirus cases. Gov. Andy Beshear reported 2,700 more virus cases Wednesday. The Democratic governor also announced 14 additional virus-related deaths. Hospitalizations continue to rise from the growing outbreak. And the statewide rate for positive tests surged. Beshear continues to implore Kentuckians to wear masks to counter the accelerating virus outbreak. (Local officials report 47 active cases in Breckinridge County with the incidence rate level in the “red” category.)
