Beshear Reports Over 1,300 New COVID Cases In Kentucky

FRANKFORT, Ky. (AP) — Gov. Andy Beshear has reported more than 1,300 new coronavirus cases in Kentucky. He said Wednesday that the new numbers are a “shock to the system” and urged people to step up compliance with health guidelines to combat the escalating outbreak. Beshear said Wednesday that it’s the highest single-day virus caseload in Kentucky after excluding one day last week when the total included backlogged cases.
