KHSAA Board Votes To Delay Fall Sports Into September

LEXINGTON (07/28/20) — The Kentucky High School Athletic Association Board of Control voted Tuesday morning to set the first week of competition for high school football in Kentucky for the weekend of September 11th, pushing the start of the season back three weeks from the original start date. The plan now calls for the playoffs to begin the weekend of November 13th with the state finals on December 11th. The Board also set start dates for other sports such as volleyball and soccer on the week of September 7th.
