Local Meetings Go Digital In Response To Outbreak

UNDATED (04/07/20) — Governmental meetings are also seeing impacts as a result on the on-going coronavirus pandemic, adjusting the way meetings are conducted and held to the public.

The Breckinridge County Board of Education will go ahead with it’s monthly meeting tomorrow night but with public available through a newly-created YouTube channel.

The Irvington City Council is planning a special called meeting Thursday night in place of it’s regular meeting at 7 Eastern  time via ZOOM.

State, Federal and Health officials are continuing to urge “social distancing” of a six-foot distance between people and avoid large crowds in an effort to halt the spread of the virus.
