HARDINSBURG (04/03/20) — The Breckinridge County Health Department has offered advice for businesses that are open and dealing with the public in the wake of the current outbreak: they recommend installing a sneeze guard or cough guard at the register or checkout area. If that is not possible, encourage staff to wear a facemask but refrain from using one that would otherwise be used by a healthcare provider. If using gloves to conduct business please remember to change gloves between encounters with customers. Businesses can contact the department at 270-756-5121 with any questions regarding screening.
