FRANKFORT, Ky. (AP) — Gov. Andy Beshear has reported a fifth Kentucky death linked to coronavirus. He said Wednesday that total statewide cases during the pandemic approached 200 despite a slight drop in the number of new cases from the prior day. Beshear reported 35 new cases in Kentucky, compared to 39 Tuesday. He says the latest Kentucky death linked to the virus was a 75-year-old man from Jefferson County. Also on Wednesday, Beshear issued an executive order outlining which Kentucky businesses are considered “life sustaining” and allowed to stay open amid the coronavirus pandemic. His order suspended evictions as Kentucky residents deal with economic damage inflicted by the virus.

In Indiana, the number of cases is at 477 as of late Wednesday with 14 deaths reported.
