Crash Damages Utility Pole And Parked Cars

Emergency personnel were called to old Highway 60 near the library in Hardinsburg around 8:30 Monday (11/25) morning on a report of a multiple vehicle accident. According to Hardinsburg Police Chief Mike Robinson, 46-year-old Perry Lee of McQuady was travelling eastbound on Old Highway 60, in a 2007 Chevy Pick Up, when he left the right side of the roadway, striking a mailbox, a utility pole and 5 vehicles in the public library parking lot.  Lee was transported to Breckinridge Health, by Breck Central EMS, with non-life threatening injuries. Robinson was assisted at the scene by the Breckinridge County Sheriff’s Office, Hardinsburg Fire and Rescue and the Meade County R.E.C.C.
