Breckinridge Circuit Court-Division 1

11/20/2019—Division 1 of Breckinridge Circuit Court with Judge Bruce Butler met Wednesday.

 

Kasey L. Pile, 27, pleaded not guilty to 1st degree fleeing/evading police; 2nd degree assault on an animal; alcohol intoxication in a public place; and resisting arrest.  A pre-trial conference was scheduled for January 22.

 

Ryan A. Bennett, 31, pleaded not guilty to theft by deception, and 2nd degree possession of a forged instrument.  A pre-trial conference was scheduled for January 22.

 

Dwight W. Vergason, 62; and Charity L. Woods, 35 each pleaded not guilty to 1st degree possession of a controlled substance(meth), 1st offense, and possession of drug paraphernalia.  They will be back in court for a pre-trial conference December 18.

 

Brian K. Mitcham, 50, pleaded not guilty to receiving stolen property valued under $10,000; and being a 1st degree persistent felony offender.  A pre-trial conference was scheduled for March 18.

 

Melissa D. Reynolds, 46, pleaded not guilty to trafficking in a controlled substance(meth), 1st offense; 1st degree possession of a controlled substance(meth), 1st offense; possession of drug paraphernalia; and possession of marijuana.  A pre-trial conference was scheduled for January 22.

 

Brian K. Swink, 56, pleaded not guilty to two counts of 2nd degree unlawful transaction with a minor.  A pre-trial conference was scheduled for January 22.

 

Amanda Charles, 37, pleaded guilty to 1st degree wanton endangerment of a police officer; fleeing/evading police; tampering with physical evidence; speeding; reckless driving; improper passing; and being a 1st degree persistent felony offender.  Sentencing was scheduled for January 22.

 

Russell B. Foote, 38, pleaded guilty to flagrant non-support.  Sentencing was scheduled for December 18.

 

Joseph D. Frans, 58, pleaded guilty to 1st degree possession of a controlled substance(meth), 1st offense; cultivation of marijuana; possession of marijuana; and possession of drug paraphernalia.  Sentencing was scheduled for December 18.

 

Bobby M. Sale, 39, was sentenced to 18 months in prison, probated for three years, for 1st degree possession of a controlled substance(meth), 1st offense.

 

Diversion was extended for five years for Joseph C. Crain, 35.

 

Shock probation was granted for Ashley Smith, 33.
