INDIANAPOLIS (AP) — Malcolm Brogdon had 25 points, eight rebounds and six assists to push the injury-riddled Pacers to their first home win of the season, 102-95 over Cleveland. The Pacers held the Cavaliers to 37% shooting and forced 16 turnovers.

SAN FRANCISCO (AP) _ Golden State Warriors guard Stephen Curry will miss at least three months after undergoing surgery on his broken left hand, leaving the struggling team without its top player for over half the season. Curry was injured in Wednesday’s loss to the Suns, driving to the basket and landing on both hands before Aron Baynes landed on Curry’s left hand. 

UNDATED (AP) _ Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes is questionable against the Vikings, raising the possibility the league MVP could return after missing just one game to a dislocated kneecap. Mahomes has practiced on a limited basis throughout the week, just as he did last week.

ENGLEWOOD, Colo. (AP) _ The Denver Broncos have placed veteran quarterback Joe Flacco on injured reserve and promoted rookie QB Brett Rypien from their practice squad to back up new starter Brandon Allen. Coach Vic Fangio said even though Flacco doesn’t need surgery on the herniated disk in his neck, it would take six weeks for him to recover and another week or two to get ready. 

RENTON, Wash. (AP) _ Josh Gordon has been claimed off waivers by the Seattle Seahawks after being released off injured reserve by the New England Patriots. Gordon was among New England’s leading receivers this season, with 20 catches for 287 yards and a touchdown through six games. But he was placed on injured reserve last week with knee and ankle injuries.
