UNDATED (AP) _ The Chicago Cubs have pulled back into a first-place tie with the Milwaukee Brewers in the National League Central. Kris Bryant hit his 17th homer and the Cubs ended a four-game losing streak by routing the Pirates, 11-3. Luis Castillo struck out nine while pitching one-hit ball into the eighth inning of the Reds’ third straight win over the Brewers, 1-0.

UNDATED (AP)_ St. Louis is within 1 ½ games of the NL Central lead after Dexter Fowler slammed a two-run homer and Matt Wieters provided a solo shot in the Cardinals’ 5-4 win at Seattle. Tommy Edman put the Cardinals in front with a two-run single in the seventh, one day after belting a pinch-hit three-run homer in the ninth inning.

UNDATED (AP)_ The Braves spotted the Phillies a 4-0, first-inning lead before Dansby Swanson homered twice and drove in five runs in Atlanta’s 12-6 romp over Philadelphia. Ozzie Albies furnished the go-ahead, three-run blast in the third before Atlanta expanded its lead in the NL East to six games.

UNDATED (AP) — The Nationals won for the 13th time in 16 games as Anthony Rendon hit a solo homer and a tiebreaking, RBI single in a 5-2 victory over the Marlins. Cody Bellinger belted his 30th home run and Hyun Jin Ryu limited San Diego to three hits over six scoreless innings in the Dodgers’ 5-1 win.

UNDATED (AP) _ DJ LeMahieu and Gary Sanchez supplied the big hits while the Yankees scored five times in the 10th inning to double up the Rays, 8-4. LeMahieu broke a 3-3 tie with a two-run single and Sanchez followed with a three-run blast that helped New York open a 7 ½-game lead over Tampa Bay in the AL East.

UNDATED (AP) _ Francisco Lindor drove in three runs and Jose Ramirez banged out a pair of solo homers as the Indians beat the Royals, 8-4 to complete a three-game sweep. Lindor broke a 3-3 deadlock with a two-run double while Cleveland scored six times in the seventh.

BLAINE, Minn. (AP) _ Scott Piercy birdied eight of his final 11 holes for a 9-under 62 and the first-round lead at the inaugural 3M Open in Blaine, Minn. Piercy is seeking his fifth career tour win and first since the 2018 Zurich Classic.
