Coverage on 104.3, the River begins just before 9 this morning. The other semifinal will pit Louisville Trinity and McCracken County.

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (AP) — Danny Oriente and Jake Snider each had three RBIs and Reid Detmers held East Carolina to five hits in seven innings in Louisville’s 14-1 blowout win in the opener of an NCAA Tournament super regional. Hitless for 3 1/3 innings against Pirates ace Jake Agnos, the Cardinals erupted for four runs in the 4th.

OAKLAND, Calif. (AP) _ The Toronto Raptors have a three-games-to-one lead in the NBA Finals after Kawhi Leonard provided 36 points and 12 rebounds in a 105-92 victory over the Golden State Warriors in Oakland. Leonard also was 5-for-9 from 3-point range for Toronto, which trailed by four at halftime before outscoring the Warriors, 37-21 in the third period.

UNDATED (AP) _ The Chicago Cubs and Milwaukee Brewers remain in a virtual tie for the NL Central lead. Javier Baez hit a two-run homer and Cole Hamels struck out a season-high 10 while scattering three hits over eight innings of the Cubs’ fourth win in five games, 3-1 over the St. Louis Cardinals. Ryan Braun and Eric Thames each homered and Brandon Woodruff fanned 10 over six innings to send the Brewers past Pittsburgh, 10-4.

SAN FRANCISCO (AP) _ Kevin Pillar laced an RBI single in a two-run sixth inning off Clayton Kershaw as the San Francisco Giants rallied past the Los Angeles Dodgers, 2-1. Kershaw absorbed his first loss of the season despite limiting the Giants to two runs on six hits in seven innings.

DETROIT (AP) _ The Minnesota Twins kept rolling as Mitch Garver went 3-for-5 with a two-run homer and three RBIs in a 6-3 victory at Detroit. C.J. Cron and Nelson Cruz also homered for Minnesota, and Marwin Gonzalez matched his career high with four hits as the Twins dealt the Tigers the 12th loss in their last 13 home games.

UNDATED (AP) _ The New York Yankees’ lead in the AL East is down to a half-game over Tampa Bay. Carlos Santana’s tiebreaking, two-run homer in the sixth inning pushed the Indians past the Yankees, 5-2. Yonny Chirinos pitched two-hit ball for eight scoreless innings of the Rays’ 5-1 victory at Boston.

HAMILTON, Ont. (AP) _ Matt Kuchar and Scott Brown are co-leaders through two rounds of the PGA’s Canadian Open. Both players are 12 under after carding 7-under 63s. Brandt Snedeker and Nick Taylor are one stroke back and one ahead of Webb Simpson.
