HARDINSBURG (05/08/19) — The Breckinridge County High School Fighting Tiger baseball team won their fourth straight with a 6-2 result against Muhlenburg County Tuesday at the Hardinsburg Ballpark. Next up is a game tomorrow at John Hardin. The Lady Tiger softball team won on Tuesday, topping North Bullitt, 9-3. They host Larue County tomorrow in a game that can be heard on 104.3, the River.

UNDATED (AP) — Kentucky Derby winner Country House won’t run in the Preakness because of illness. Trainer Bill Mott says the long shot winner of horse racing’s biggest event is no longer being considered for the second jewel of the Triple Crown. After the horse started coughing, blood work showed he was harboring some sort of virus.

TORONTO (AP) — The Toronto Raptors have a three-games-to-two lead in the NBA’s Eastern Conference semifinals after Kawhi Leonard delivered 21 points and 13 rebounds in a 125-89 romp over the Philadelphia 76ers. Pascal Siakam scored 25 points for the Raptors, who outscored the 76ers 37-17 in the second quarter to take a 64-43 halftime lead.

DENVER (AP) — Nikola Jokic dropped in 25 points and tied a team playoff high with 19 rebounds as the Denver Nuggets blasted the Portland Trail Blazers, 124-98 to take a three-games-to-two lead in the NBA’s Western Conference semifinals. Paul Millsap scored 19 of his 24 points in the first half of the first lopsided game of the series.

Kris Bryant smacked a three-run, walk-off homer with two out in the ninth to complete the Cubs’ 5-2 victory over the Marlins. Other National League winners were the Dodgers, Pittsburgh, Milwaukee, San Francisco and the Mets.

UNDATED (AP) — The Twins shut out the Blue Jays for the second straight night as Juan Berríos allowed four hits in seven innings of Minnesota’s 3-0 victory. Other American League winners were the White Sox, Angels, Tampa Bay, Yankees, Boston and Kansas City.

DOVER, Del. (AP) — Denny Hamlin suffered from nausea and double vision from carbon monoxide that seeped into his Toyota at the end of Monday’s NASCAR race at Dover International Speedway. Debris struck Hamlin’s No. 11 Toyota during the race that knocked out the right rear crush panel and allowed fumes into the car. Hamlin said he felt fine on Tuesday and was ready to race this weekend at Kansas Speedway.
