HARNED (11/27/18) — The Breckinridge County High School Fighting Tiger basketball team opens their season tonight at Tiger Arena against Edmonson County. Coverage on 104.3, the River begins with “Tiger Talk” around 7, with the game at 7:30 this evening. The Cloverport Aces also open their season tonight at home against Whitesville Trinity at 7:30.

HARNED (11/26/18) — In girls basketball heard last night on WXBC, the Lady Tigers opened their season with a 56-44 win over Daviess County at Tiger Arena. The Lady Tigers are back in action tonight against Edmonson County at 6 at Tiger Arena. The Cloverport Lady Aces open their season tonight at the Sportcenter against Trinity at 6.

UNDATED (11/26/18) — In girls middle school basketball from Monday, the Breckinridge County Lady Tiger 7th grade team defeated Butler County, 52-19, while the 8th grade square beat the Lady Bears, 45-42.

HOUSTON (AP) — Deshaun Watson threw for 210 yards and two touchdowns and ran for a third score as the Houston Texans set a franchise record with their eighth straight win, 34-17 over the Tennessee Titans. Demaryius Thomas scored his first two touchdowns with the Texans and Lamar Miller ran for 162 yards, including a 97-yard TD. The Texans honored late owner Robert McNair with his initials on their helmets.

UNDATED (AP) — Gonzaga has leapfrogged Kansas for No. 1 in the AP Top 25 after knocking off Duke in the Maui Invitational title game. The Zags are No. 1 for the third time after edging the undefeated Jayhawks by one first-place vote. Duke dropped to No. 3. Virginia is No. 4 and No. 5 Nevada has its highest ranking ever. Kentucky is ranked 10th in the poll. Gonzaga remained unbeaten with a 102-60 rout of North Dakota State.

UNDATED (11/27/18) — The Louisville Cardinals and Indiana Hoosiers are in action tonight as part of of the annual ACC/Big Ten Challenge. The Cardinals host 9th-ranked Michigan State at the Yum Center while the Hoosiers face number two Duke in Durham.

WASHINGTON (AP) — John Wall scored a season-high 36 points, including six in overtime, and the Washington Wizards overcame James Harden’s season-best 54 points to outlast the Houston Rockets 135-131. Wall had two baskets in the extra period and finished with 11 assists. Other winners were: Charlotte, Minnesota, San Antonio, Boston, Indiana and Golden State
