The Hardinsburg Fire Department was dispatched to a report of smoke coming from under a mobile home in the 5800 block of west Highway 60 at about 10:20 Tuesday (08/22) morning. The fire, which appeared to be electrical in nature, was under control shortly after units arrived. Units cleared the scene at 11:39.
Before they cleared the first fire scene, Hardinsburg Fire Units were dispatched to a downed phone line on Highway 105, near the McQuady Fire Station. The line was snagged by a combine. Traffic was diverted while phone crews worked to repair the line.
The Custer Fire Department responded to a report of an ATV on fire in the 14000 block of Highway 690 at about 11:47 Tuesday (08/22) morning. The fire was controlled and the department cleared in about a half an hour.
