Isaiah Thomas scored 33 points and had nine assists as the Celts rallied from an early 16-0 deficit to beat Washington, 123-111 in Game 1 of the second-round series. The Jazz got 26 points from Gordon Hayward in taking Game 7 of their opening-round series against the Clippers, 104-91 in Los Angeles.

ST. LOUIS (AP) — Joey Votto hit a tiebreaking single in the eighth inning and Adam Duvall got four hits to help the Cincinnati Reds beat the St. Louis Cardinals 5-4 Sunday. The Reds had lost eight of their previous nine games.

WASHINGTON (AP) — Anthony Rendon homered three times and set a franchise record with 10 RBIs as the Washington Nationals destroyed the New York Mets, 23-5.

Logano pulled away after a restart with about 20 laps to go and earned the victory despite starting 37th due to a transmission change. Denny Hamlin was third, followed by Ricky Stenhouse Jr. and Kevin Harvick.

AVONDALE, La. (AP) — The PGA’s Zurich Classic won’t be decided until Monday. That’s because Kevin Kisner chipped in for eagle on the 18th hole as darkness fell Sunday night. The chip put Kisner and teammate Scott Brown into a playoff with Jonas Blixt and Cameron Smith.
