The Breckinridge County Fighting Tiger baseball team snapped a two-game losing skid with an 11-1 win in six innings over Whitesville Trinity in a game heard last night on WXBC. Brady Higdon drove in four run for the Tigers while Preston Cottrell struck out six in four innings of pitching. The Tigers next game at six tonight at Apollo. The Lady Tigers softball game previously scheduled with Butler County for this afternoon has been cancelled.

ALAMEDA, Calif. (AP) — Marshawn Lynch is coming out of retirement after agreeing on a two-year deal with the Raiders. Lynch passed a physical Wednesday and agreed to a restructured two-year contract as part of a trade from Seattle. Lynch also must apply to the NFL for reinstatement from the retired list before he can play.
