The Breckinridge County Fighting Tiger baseball team dropped a 4-3 decision to Owensboro on Monday (04/24). Brock Lucas had a double and drove in two of the Tiger’s three runs of the game. Breckinridge County’s next game is scheduled for tomorrow at home against Whitesville Trinity. The Lady Tiger softball lost to Larue County, 16-4 in six innings on Monday at the Ballpark. Their next game is scheduled for later today at 5:30 at Hancock County.

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (AP) — Louisville junior forward Jaylen Johnson will stay in the NBA draft. The 6-foot-9 Johnson said in a release that his decision to hire an agent followed a talk with coach Rick Pitino. Johnson averaged 8 points and ranked second on the Cardinals with 5.8 rebounds last season while starting 26 of 34 contests.
