The Breckinridge County Fighting Tiger baseball team snapped a two-game skid with a 3-0 win over Tell City on Monday. Preston Cottell struck out eight while Kobe Poole drove in a pair of runs for the Tigers, who are slated to travel to Ohio County later today.

There’s been some changes to the Lady Tiger softball schedule: the game scheduled for Thursday against Meade County has been moved up to this afternoon due to potential weather issues later in the week. The Whitesville Trinity game scheduled for today has been moved to Friday evening.

Kyrie Irving scored 37 points, Kevin Love added 27 and the Cleveland Cavaliers avoided another fourth-quarter collapse in Game 2, beating the Indiana Pacers 117-111. Kawhi Leonard had a postseason career-high 37 points and added 11 rebounds as San Antonio beat the Memphis Grizzlies 96-82.

LAWRENCE, Kan. (AP) — Kansas freshman Josh Jackson has announced he will enter the NBA draft. Jackson, who released a statement on Monday, was the Big 12 Newcomer of the Year after averaging 16.3 points and 7.4 rebounds per game. He helped the Jayhawks to a 31-5 record and a berth in the NCAA Tournament’s Elite Eight.

INDIANAPOLIS (AP) — Andrew Luck isn’t sure when he’ll start throwing again and won’t set a timetable for his return from shoulder surgery. The Indianapolis Colts starting quarterback isn’t expected to do much — if any — work during the team’s off-season workouts which began Monday. Luck missed nine game of the 2016 season with an assortment of injuries.
