UNDATED (AP) — The Boston Celtics will have the No. 1 seed in the NBA’s Eastern Conference playoffs after finishing two games ahead of the defending-champion Cleveland Cavaliers. Gerald Green scored 10 of his 18 points during a 25-2 spurt in the fourth quarter of the Celtics’ 112-94 comeback win against Milwaukee. Norman Powell scored 25 points on 10 of 13 shooting as the Raptors beat the Cavs for the first time in four tries this season, 98-83.

UNDATED (AP) — The Indiana Pacers and Chicago Bulls nosed out the Miami Heat for the last two seeds in the NBA’s Eastern Conference playoffs. The seventh-seeded Pacers rolled to a 104-86 win over Atlanta as Paul George delivered 32 points and 11 rebounds. Jimmy Butler’s 25 points led Chicago’s 112-73 win against Brooklyn.

PITTSBURGH (AP) — Reds rookie Amir Garrett threw another gem, taking a shutout into the seventh inning and leading Cincinnati over the Pittsburgh Pirates 9-2 Wednesday night for a three-game sweep. Garrett gave up five hits, walked none and struck out five in 6 2/3 innings.

LEXINGTON, Ky. (AP) — Kentucky 7-foot backup big man Isaac Humphries says he will turn professional and hire an agent to explore opportunities in the NBA and internationally. The Australian sophomore is the fifth Wildcat to leave school early this year. He said in a release Wednesday that his decision didn’t come easily.
