Breckinridge County Lady Tiger Softball’s game with Ohio County scheduled for yesterday was rained out. Their next scheduled game is tomorrow (04/13) afternoon at John Hardin.

Scooter Gennett slammed a three-run homer and had three hits as Cincinnati whipped the Pirates, 6-2 in Pittsburgh. The Reds have won six of seven since dropping their season opener.

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (AP) – Louisville reserve center Matz Stockman will transfer after three seasons under coach Rick Pitino to play for Pitino’s son, Richard, at Minnesota. The 7-foot junior from Norway must sit out next season per NCAA transfer rules. Stockman had 31 points and 21 rebounds in 18 contests last season for Louisville.

UNDATED (AP) — OG Anunoby is among four Indiana players who have declared for this year’s NBA draft. Anunoby plans to hire an agent and will not return for his junior year. Hoosiers Junior guards James Blackmon Jr. and Robert Johnson and sophomore center Thomas Bryant will not hire agents, making them eligible to continue their college careers.

SEATTLE (AP) — University of Washington football coach Chris Petersen has signed a contract extension that runs through the 2023 season and averages out to nearly $5 million per year in total compensation. Petersen led the Huskies to their first Pac-12 championship in 16 years and a spot in the College Football Playoff.
