(03/22/17)- The Breckinridge County Fighting Tiger baseball team won it’s first game of the season in their home opener at the Ballpark in a 5-4 victory over Ohio County on Tuesday (03/21) afternoon.
Jose Perez hit a 2-run walk-off homer in the bottom of the 7th inning for the Tigers.
The JV team defeated he Eagles by the score of 4-3.
Coming up today, the Tigers host Owensboro in a game re-scheduled from last week. WXBC’s coverage begins just before first pitch at 5:30 this afternoon.
In girls softball, the Lady Tigers won their third straight game with a 14-8 win over over Whitesville Trinity on Tuesday. The Lady Tigers’ next game is at home tomorrow (03/23) against John Hardin.
