(02/25/17)- Hancock County won the boys 11th District Tournament championship Friday (02/24) night over Meade County by the score of 61-60. The Hornets saw a double-digit lead slip away in the 4th quarter before a basket by Brenden Lewis at the buzzer got the win.
Included to the all-tournament team announced after last night’s game were Kobe Poole and Grayson Sosh from Breckinridge County and Stephen Jennings and Max Dubree from Frederick Fraize. Hancock County and Meade County advance to the region tournament next week. (Draw for the boys and girls tournament will be later today.
